Aim of the activity - To open discussions on violence against women (VAW) in the family in Europe and the responsibility of states - To raise awareness of the findings of recent research - To build network of women’s NGOs and activists
Expected outcomes - To give the message: We are united in campaigning for the eradication of violence against women, and the state has a primary responsibility to stop this violence. - A network to work together in future will be created

Part 2 - Activity Content Description
Brief activity outline / Description Engaging women’s NGOs and individual activists at the ESF in a discussion about VAW as a human rights violation, and of exploring the ‘due diligence’ approach to campaigning on VAW. AI’s panellists will be talking about their experiences in different countries, and will help to facilitate discussion on different experiences.
